Any families in Cyprus right now? We arrived 3 weeks ago and will stay for a few months or longer. Always looking for other families with kids and exchange about schooling etc.

We are currently in Paphos for a few weeks with a 3yo

Arriving to Cyprus for a few days on 27 January
With a 15 years old

We’re in Paphos as well! Kids are 8, 6, and 3

Nicosia, however we will have a car once there
So any where can be great Cyprus is not that big after all :))

We’re “slowmads”. So we sometimes stay for a longer period. We’ll be in Cyprus until Jan 26.

Highly recommend Hua Hin once you Slowmad as a family …

It’s heaven on earth and above all it’s one of the most affordable locations I came across

How is it for families? What are the top 3 things that stand out for you? We’ve been to Pai and Koh Phangan in 2023. Was not ideal for our family

Koh Phangan and Pai, in my opinion, are sort of similar vibe
And bit more “hippie” and not 100% family oriented

Regardless of the magic, these both places have , In general the infrastructure may be lacking
Whether it’s for schooling, roads, no proper shopping malls etc

Hua Hin he is a summer place of the king in the royal family

Place is extremely tidy , and you feel somewhat in Europe, also landscape wise. Apart from the amazing shore and beaches, it’s the number one golfing spot of Asia (not Thailand)


Surprisingly enough, that’s the best location I found so far in terms of the quality of its Human Capital!

Terms of schooling apart from Bangkok , I believe it did the second or the third place accommodate good schooling

There are a lot of events happening there and its proximity to Bangkok is fantastic, especially for those like me that come from large cities who don’t wanna live in a large city anymore, however, enjoy the large city vibe from time to time

And above all, it’s way more affordable , both in terms of quality and price, than anywhere else that one would consider living in Thailand.

Apologies for not stating only top three things , we’ve been leaving here just over two months now, and so far it’s overwhelming

I've heard there is a decent international school on Koh Tao and met some parents there, staying longer.
