My first remote working location. It turned out to be a paradise island with more adventurous activities to do than any other place I've visited. You can't live in the Azores for a month without visiting some of the other islands and my highlight was definitely hiking Pico Volcano 2351m - the highest point in Portugal! Working wise it was not my most productive as moving between hostels each week didn't set me up for a strong routine, its an affordable island but apartments were too expensive. Would highly recommend to anyone who loves extreme outdoor.
