Was able to hit up Cebu Ayala Mall Center a couple days ago and decided to explore on foot rather than rush through the typical tourist checklist. Walked about 3 kilometers in different directions, just wandering and taking in the vibe of the city. The best part? The food. Tried some incredible street food, although i have yet to learn all the names of things...but so much more authentic than most of the stuff found in the mall, though I grabbed a bite of wonderful sushi there. There's something special about eating where locals eat, watching the city move around you. I'm not here to tick boxes. Just taking my time, getting a feel for the place, and seeing what calls to me. Plenty of time for the famous spots later. For now, I'm happy just being here.
