CDMX is a very large and lively city still during the pandemic with lots to see and comfortable weather. It has a great transportation system and cheap food and Uber rides. I recommend the safe neighborhoods of Napoles and Escandon to live and Condesa, Roma, and Polanco to party. You can move from one to another for $4 Uber ride and save easily $1000+ in rent and still live in a nice area and spend the money in food and going out. I liked sightseeing around Coyoacan, Reforma and the Chapultepec Park and Mexico Park and all the city museums. On any given day you can go from exploring CDMX city center to sitting on a beach in Cancun for a $40 flight, and $50 rooms all within two hours. Internet Packages with TelMex run $25 USD for 200MPS on a contract and Prepaid Cell $10 USD for Unlimited Calls/Text and 2GB data with TelCel. |
