After a really refreshing trip to Hong Kong in 2015, I was excited to be able to see the mainland. I had a friend who worked in Beijing, and I was able to use their apartment as a springboard for a 3 week visit, that started and ended in Beijing. I traveled China mostly by train, used Airbnb for interesting locations to stay and ended up being interested in China more than I ever imagined I would have been. |
