There's some interesting hiking, fishing spots and a few nice museums. A few interesting restaurants and bars in the Glenwood, Fayetteville and North Hills. Live music and entertainment isn't hard to find (coming back post pandemic). People I meet here are mixed bag. You find a lot of transplants from other parts of the country. Most of the locals are nice enough. I've always felt Raleigh was a little pricey for what it was. You could do worse. |
