Trying to figure out how to gtfo of the US

Week-long company retreat at a private finca near Playa San Juan followed by a week of solo roaming in Puerto de la Cruz. Didn't see a whole lot of sunshine unfortunately, was apparently the only two weeks out of the year when it isn't sunny all day every day. Still had a great time overall, especially thanks to The Bud Company in Puerto de la Cruz 🌲

Moved here to escape the insane cost of living on the west coast.

Visiting family.

Spent almost 3 years living in an off-grid cabin in the redwoods north of Santa Cruz.

Lived on a Mennonite family farm and ran an organic market garden business. Sold veggies at a farmer's market in Louisville KY.

More college, post college, lots of dead-end jobs and no money for traveling.

Took a two-week road trip from Alaska to California living out of a friend's van.

WWOOF'd at a couple places in and around Homer after hitchhiking here from Whitehorse. Camped on the spit for a few days at one point.

WWOOF'd at a really awful farm. Had planned to spend the whole summer there but couldn't hang with the vibes. Hitchhiked out with a fellow WWOOFer.
