Ketchikan

United States

Went on an 8 day cruise from Seattle, WA to Ketchikan, Sitka, and Juneau AK. First stop in Ketchikan was incredible. The hiking in the Alaskan rainforest was beautiful. This town thrives off tourism and is very seasonal in nature. About 50% of the local population is seasonal and they end up moving south to other tourism destinations during the winter months.
