Iโ€™m a tech industry veteran and former executive now pursuing my software engineering passion full-time, and my wanderlust as often as possible.

My current focus is data engineering in a machine learning-powered life science SaaS company, where I'm pushing the boundaries of data-driven biomedical science applications using Python, SQL, Apache Beam, the Google Cloud Platform, natural language processing tools and techniques, and applied machine learning. Maybe that's too much tech talk?

My home base is Toronto, where I live with my wife and two children. I love robust coffee; an invigorating workout; eating delicious, nutritious, and adventurous food; live music (including playing, piano and guitarโ€”and sometimes trumpet); learning (currently trying to learn Spanish); and exploring new places. Among other things.
