Is there an affordable way to incorporate in Singapore?
I asked an agency and they charge around SG$11000 for the whole package.
Iโd like to find a cheaper option since Iโm just starting out.
Any recommendations?

Hi everyone,
I would love to hear what you'd like me to build next on Nomad List, or any other product/feature feedback ideas you have.
It's been 6+ years now but I'm in this for the long term and with the boost remote work got last year it's even more exciting to work on Nomad List than ever.
Current roadmap is here: twitter.com/levelsio/status/1363204985488572417?s=20 and pbs.twimg.com/media/EusS9PKXEAUR8xp?format=jpg&name=4096x4096
The next products/features I have planned:
- ๐ Rebase: visa, residency and immigration services for remote workers
- ๐Courses: learn the steps how to go remote and travel/relocate
- ๐ Gov liaison: diplomacy services to the governments to help us lobby for nomads and for them to attract remote workers
Thanks a lot!
What are the best places right now in the Caribbean/LatAM? (Also cheapest flights/accommodation?) Asking from the US.
As part of signing up for this website I was hoping I would come across a list of Visa and/or Residency requirements by country ideally in a table format to assist with decision making. Does anybody recommend any other websites that might present the information in this format (or Google Spreadsheet)?
I love living in walkable areas of town. I can always find them. But now I'm wondering where in the world are the most walkable places? I'm imagining walk streets (no cars), zoning allowing both business and residential, parks or beaches ,etc.
Hi guys,
After the Netherlands, the Bay Area, Colorado and being on the van life for 8 months, I am now in Sedona, AZ with a few other digital nomads. We are sharing a home here and are wondering if there are more like minded people in the area.
We do a bunch of hikes and campouts in the northern of Arizona. If you would like to connect with us, please do so :)

Has anyone figured out a way to get setup with a virtual number and internet connection anywhere you go?
Hi everybody. I live and work in Germany and want to go to Canary Islands for 6 months to work from there. I'm going to keep my current job, just change the "home" in the home office part of things. Are there any tax issues I have to be aware of? I was reading about becoming a residence after 183 days, thus having to pay taxes there plus my employer having to register there. Does anybody know how it works exactly? Thanks a lot!
Winter is coming and Iโm feeling the ache of travelling after being stuck in the same place since the Pandemic started. Wondering if anyone is travelling right now? If so, where are you currently located and how is the situation where you are?
I have an commerce website. We get around 1000 orders per month and this is going to get quite a bit bigger in next few years.
I am British. I live in Thailand.
Im not allowed to majority own a Thai business and small foreign entrepreneurs are not really welcome. So i need an offshore company.
I need PayPal and an ecommerce internet merchant account. Also looking at alternatives like worldpay. 2checkout etc
Does PayPal need me to be a resident to the country i register my account to? Are there complications being a non resident to get other payment solutions?
Apparently in Hong Kong you need 2 years trading history to get an Internet Mechant Account and they generally turn their noses up at those with less than $1m(us) a year turn over. Singapore seems a bit easier.
I really want to avoid paperwork and book keeping. I hate it.
So i was looking at Seychelles, Panama, BVI, Belize.
Does anyone have experience with payment providers in these countries?
Most nomads i see donโt really have a high volume of small monthly transactions which i do. Im going around in circles and donโt know where to start.
Ill also need a bank account for business and a personal bank account to pay my salary into
Hey guys, hereโs a question Iโve been asking nomads I meet everywhere, but still havenโt found good information. My startups mostly focus on american and european markets but I donโt have a registered company, nor I live permanently on any of these countries.
I get the cash payments online in paypal (or adsense) and transfer it to Thailand (or Malaysia, or Bali, or Brazil, or wherever Iโm at). The thing isโฆ for low volume living expenses it seems fine, but as I scale the business, Iโm starting to think more and more about fiscal law.
A fellow nomad told me to transfer it to Singapore, Hong Kong or The Virgin Islands, and then use an international credit card anywhere. I donโt know if itโs the best way to optimize thisโฆ any ideas?
Also, could there be any problems in selling to these countries without a registered local company?
What are the most comfortable and affordable coworking places in Amsterdam?
I donโt like noisy cafes and high prices of Spaces.
Anyone have any suggestions for great incorporation companies who have full services?
Iโm looking for a company who can handle accounting, incorporating and book keeping (online) for Hong Kong.
Would appreciate any recommendations.
I am thinking to change my base to Singapore .
I have some queries regarding it,
Hacks of Price of Living : I donโt want to live in hostels where 4/8 persons live in a room, want to live in a room may be in a shared apartment, gym and other facilities would be nice, I am getting in 800 to 1000 SGDโs pretty good Condo rooms, can I turn it down to 500-600 ?
Food : I stayed there for a month recently, so pretty much know the food hacks now, if I am eating at home its cheap and hawkers places are also cheaper.
Howโs it for business Base ?
I run a Software Development Company mostly into building MVPโs for Startups and running extension teams for SMEโs. So I think it will be pretty good for me based in Singapore for finding new opportunities and Client Communications.
What do you think about it and any suggestions would be great.
Hi! Has anyone wondered how to get Android Pay working on their device as a non US/UK/Singaporean citizen? Apparently those are the countries supported by Android Pay currently (as in, supported Cards of banks situated in those countries, to be precise).
I was thinking to open a UK bank account just for this purpose, but that requires proof of residency and opening a Singaporean account has became significantly harder, either in later years. Any tips? Iโm an EU citizen btw.
Hey nomads,
Iโm looking for the best location to incorporate my online business (offshore programming and so on).
The main requirements:
Iโm only one owner of the company (not EU/US resident).
Iโve checked jurisdictions like BVI/Belize/Nevis and iโm interested in it. It would be appreciated if you could give me some kind of advice, if you have experience with one of these jurisdictions.
My budget for incorporation < $1500
Thanks!
Which is your favourite country in the world to incorporate and why?
I have a product that I plan to retail in the EU, Japan, the USA, Canada and New Zealand. Where should I incorporate?
I currently have a log of cheques form clients written to my name.
Iโm not yet setup as a corporation in Hong Kong, but am thinking about doing so. Will I be able to deposit these cheques from my name into my business bank account?
Also, I wish to continue to receive cheques to my name. Will I be able to deposit them into my business based in Hong Kong?
Hello, Iโve been earning online for the past 2 years and had no need to incorporate. But now Iโm applying for a citizenship and one of the requirements is that I own a business that pays myself a dividend income. I make money in USD and get paid through a personal US bank account. Iโm NOT a US citizen or resident. Been living as a tourist in many places for 2 years. Iโm looking at Belize and Panama but not sure what it might entail? In terms of money logistics, Iโm not understanding how that would work? Anyone has experience in this?
