EDIT:
I discovered afterwards that this question was already asked on Can working on tourist visas be a problem?, though not specifically for Peru.

Hi everyone,
I would love to hear what you'd like me to build next on Nomad List, or any other product/feature feedback ideas you have.
It's been 6+ years now but I'm in this for the long term and with the boost remote work got last year it's even more exciting to work on Nomad List than ever.
Current roadmap is here: twitter.com/levelsio/status/1363204985488572417?s=20 and pbs.twimg.com/media/EusS9PKXEAUR8xp?format=jpg&name=4096x4096
The next products/features I have planned:
- ๐ Rebase: visa, residency and immigration services for remote workers
- ๐Courses: learn the steps how to go remote and travel/relocate
- ๐ Gov liaison: diplomacy services to the governments to help us lobby for nomads and for them to attract remote workers
Thanks a lot!
What are the best places right now in the Caribbean/LatAM? (Also cheapest flights/accommodation?) Asking from the US.
As part of signing up for this website I was hoping I would come across a list of Visa and/or Residency requirements by country ideally in a table format to assist with decision making. Does anybody recommend any other websites that might present the information in this format (or Google Spreadsheet)?
I love living in walkable areas of town. I can always find them. But now I'm wondering where in the world are the most walkable places? I'm imagining walk streets (no cars), zoning allowing both business and residential, parks or beaches ,etc.
Hi guys,
After the Netherlands, the Bay Area, Colorado and being on the van life for 8 months, I am now in Sedona, AZ with a few other digital nomads. We are sharing a home here and are wondering if there are more like minded people in the area.
We do a bunch of hikes and campouts in the northern of Arizona. If you would like to connect with us, please do so :)

Has anyone figured out a way to get setup with a virtual number and internet connection anywhere you go?
Hi everybody. I live and work in Germany and want to go to Canary Islands for 6 months to work from there. I'm going to keep my current job, just change the "home" in the home office part of things. Are there any tax issues I have to be aware of? I was reading about becoming a residence after 183 days, thus having to pay taxes there plus my employer having to register there. Does anybody know how it works exactly? Thanks a lot!
Winter is coming and Iโm feeling the ache of travelling after being stuck in the same place since the Pandemic started. Wondering if anyone is travelling right now? If so, where are you currently located and how is the situation where you are?
Hello, everyone!
My idea is to stay as low as 6 months and as long as a year (maybe, who knows) over Lisbon after doing some analysis from many cities in Europe.
I'm an Argentinian and Chilean (both nationalities) so... no Euro-pass for me (getting my Italian nationality could take 2 years easily). I'm also a remote worker and I have a really good income (I work for a Silicon Valley company) so I can show more than enough resources to stay in the country.
Everything I see online doesn't inspire me much confidence (most sites looks a bit scammy) and this is not a "vacation stay"... I want to be clear my head far away from Argentina right now. If someone has a good website, recommendations, etc I will super appreciate.
Thanks in advance!
Hey Community, Did you ever come across any YouTube videos that sold the freelancing gig to you? That taught you how to freelance? Where to start? The good and bad points of freelancing? or just follow any YouTubers that specialise in freelancing (for inspiration)?
I'd be interested in learning more...
Thanks in advance.
Hi all,
I am moving to Amsterdam in January and looking for advice regarding legal status.
I work for a small French company. They agreed to let me move to Amsterdam as a remote worker starting January.
However, they have no business entity and no employee in the Netherlands, so we have no idea how to set up the whole thing legally speaking. Should I remain an employee of the French entity, should I charge them as a consultant/contractor?
Of course, I am looking for a solution that is both simple and with minimum taxes
Thank you for your help!!
Steph
PS: If you can recommend a good accountant that is competent on the topic, I an happy to pay for the service too!
Hey fellow nomads. I have an interesting situation.
Iโm a Canadian Citizen whoโs been a resident of the United States for the last 12 years (work VISA). I incorporated my LLC in Hong Kong and have been a nomad for about 6 months.
I just spoke to my Accountant and he says that I will only have to pay taxes to HK, because Iโm not a resident of either US or CAN. Thatโs amazing news as both places suck for taxes.
Iโm currently in Colombia but I spent the first 2 months of this year in CanadaโI want to make sure I stay out of Canada long enough to remain a non-resident.
Does anyone know what that amount of time is?
Just tackling my legal will and bought a little $35 pack at my local Australian post office while Iโm back in my birth country, but upon reading the first few pages itโs fairly apparent this is only an Australian Legal Will.
Has anyone tackled checking out their will situation on an international level?
I need to consider things like decentralised online assets that donโt exist in any particular country, any resources or experiences even just anecdotally appreciated
Cheers
Has anyone been to Arequipa and worked with Skype or Zoom? Iโm currently in Lima and have 8 Mbps which is fine. Funnily, Nomadlist lists Lima with an average speed of 2Mbps and Arequipa with 5Mbps. Any recent experiences? Also interested in the north of Chile as Iโm thinking of travelling by bus to Arica, San Pedro de Atacama and then either to Argentina or slowly down south to Patagonia.
I am looking for a best virtual Domicle to declare as permanent legal USA address and Legal Domicle where I can receive Virtual mail and have it mailed to my current geography. Please inform if you have recommendations or experience. Thanks!
So I know itโs illegal to work in Europe for European companies without a work visa / permit. Iโm also aware of the Germany freelancer visa, which lets you work in Germany legally for 3 years (but Iโm not stationing in Germany; I want to hop hop hop). I see many digital nomads programming on the road, making income from American companies on a Schengen tourist visa. Of course this seems fine, since itโs brining American dollars into Europe. But is it legal? Has anyone had experiences / conversations with immigration, or seen this discussed anywhere online? My Google fu fails me here.
Freelancing Nomads, which category do you fall into?
