Hi there,
Iโm considering a month or two in Medellin and wondered what the co-working space options are like. I want something more than a cafe, so happy to pay the going rate. I spent a couple of months at Hubud in Bali earlier this year and loved it, but realise that Iโve set the bar pretty high.
Has anyone used Epicenter? I read somewhere it is pretty busy. Any other options?
Suggestions much appreciated.
Iโve used NODO (nodo.space), it suited my needs just fine. Internet was fast enough for video calls without fail, and the people were very friendly.

Iโve tried Epicenter and itโs fine, but felt a little too sterile for my liking.
Have just discovered a newish one that I love, http://www.siembracoworking.com/, which is on Calle 10 in Poblado, so it couldnโt be more central (depends where you live though, of courseโฆ)
Anyway, super friendly staff, free coffee and they put on lots of cool events like language exchanges, pub quizzes etc. Very reasonably priced as well.
I just got to Medellin, and Iโve been going to Epicentro this week. I really like it. Iโve used several coworking spaces in the U.S., and itโs pretty comparable. You get a hot desk that you can safely leave your things at all day. The people there are friendly too (although I didnโt speak to others much as my Spanish is limited).
From what I can tell 9010 doesnโt exist (or at least their website is not live anymore).
Iโm moving out of Poblado this weekend and over to Laureles, where there arenโt as many coworking spaces. Will be checking out this place: http://www.ondasmedellin.com/coworking/
You need to find a place close to where you are living. My place has decent internet and there is a outdoor cafe and museum 3 blocks away that I have been hanging out in. Planning on trying here this week http://coworking.laneros.com/

Atom house is another. I worked out of my company office when I lived in Medellin so I was only there for a meetup, but people seem to like it. It will not compare to what you experienced in Bali.
I am new to working out of coworking spaces. My business entails a lot of video conferences. I haven't chosen a specific coworking space yet but generally, what are the potential solutions for this? I have a microphone and headphones but still fell like it may be inconsiderate to take the calls anywhere in the coworking space. For a solo person, what are some general solutions? Are there usually options to rent a private room by the hour with just enough room to set up my microphone and laptop? Sidenote: any coworking space recommendations in Florianapolis, Brazil would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Heyo folks! The idea to open up an own coworking space in Malaysia has been on my mind for quite a while and I would like to reach out on foreigners being a business owner/co working space owner in Malaysia, there are a lot of questions that would follow up but most importantly is to reach out to someone with experience.
Ideally would be someone who runs a coworking space in Malaysia, second best would be to just come in touch with a foreign business owner in Malaysia.

Does anyone know of any coworking space open 24hs somewhere around the world? Sometimes because of my line of work I need to be awake when everyone is sleeping on the country I am in (but I know I am not the only one!). It would be amazing to share that time at a coworking space with others who like to work at night or who have to be awake. Does anyone know of any coworking space open 24hs somewhere in the world?

Iโm just interested on anyones experience of renting short term (1-3 months) accommodation in Medellin, Colombia.
I had a look on Airbnb of course, lots of places, on the more expensive which isnโt a huge issueโฆ Iโm just wondering if in anyones experience itโs better to take a room for a week and shop around when I get there or whether I should just book a month upfront? I recently had a bad experience with Airbnb so not dying to go down that road again just yet if Iโm honest.
Iโll be arriving in Medellin from November onwards over the Xmas period and likely through till January, maybe longer. Another friend is coming with me so we could potentially rent a 2 bed apartment, or Iโd also be happy in a studio or a private room in a decent house even. Iโm thinking El Poblano or Laureles, as we are two girls with limited Spanish.

heading to Dumaguete tomorrow and couldnโt find anything about nice coworking spaces or internet cafes in Dumaguete City. Most important is fast internet. as I have to give some online trainingโs with screen-sharing etc. and unfortunately I donโt have the time to explore different places. so any recommendations are very welcome.

Iโm visiting friends in Sydney for Christmas and am looking to hot desk for a few days. The dates are 20,21,22,23 December - the week before Christmas.
Iโve tried some coworkings but it works out really expensive for just four days. Does anyone know of anywhere I can try and hot desk for a few days for a reasonable price?
