Since youโll already be close by in Ecuador/Colombia, I would recommend you Lima, Peru as well. Especially considering your time frame of (Oct-January), because thatโs when the Limeรฑo summer starts (Dec/Jan) and that is the best time to experience Lima. Not only does it have the perfect summer weather, but the vibes here are just better here in general in the summertime.
Iโve been living in Lima on and off since 2015 and Iโve primarily been just here and in the U.S since late 2017. During the first few years I experienced other LatAm countries as well, such as Colombia, Mexico and the D.R, but ultimately I kept wanting to come back to Lima.
For me my reasons were severalfold:

Good value for cost of living. I can pretty much live the same life I lived in the U.S for 35-50% less expense. Have said that, prices have been rising pretty significantly the past year or so.

Miraflores and Barranco are two of my favorite neighborhoods in all of Latin America. Generally walkable or a Uber ride of less than $2-5 within the neighborhood. Good rental options with internet, co-working spaces, restaurants, nightlife, coffee shops, and arts/culture. Miraflores is overall safer and has better infrastructure than Barranco does, but Barranco has more of an authentic cultural feel to it.

I think what I said above checks off most of what you are looking for. While this perspective is coming from a man and not a woman, I do think Peru is considerably safer for women than in Colombia. While Colombian society and itโs economy have definitely improved and modernized over the past 10+ years, I still feel like itโs a place that is more prone to violence than Peru is. This is just going off of my experience and what I hear from friends who live there. Thatโs not to say Peru is a perfect place without problems, but the threat of violence and crime undoubtedly seems greater in Colombia. That goes for Medellin and Bogota, not just the high crime cities like Cali.
Also, Yoga is popular here in Lima so it shouldnโt be hard for you to find/get involved in that community.
