I see that there are a whopping 200 nomads in Bansko, Bulgaria. Iโm in Sofia, but aside from Bansko being cheap, I get the feeling that itโs a retirement centre in the summer time. I saw a few Youtube vids but it looks dead. Whatโs the draw to Bansko right now? Is there nightlife, or is it just a place to go hiking? Are there decent work cafeโs? Is it a decent place for singles?
Since itโs a hotspot Iโd love to see some reviews on the page.

I tell you why, a friend Matthias is running a coliving space there called Coworking Bansko, and as theyโll throw a big party next year, the nomad scene is growing there. Thatโs actually when Iโm gonna see the place for the first time, and I can give you my official review 
Itโs a mega cheap place, thatโs why. Itโs probably on a par with Thailand for costs.
If you want to hunker down and just work, then itโs a good place! There is 24/7 coworking and a good community of people there. I was there in September and it was a lot of fun. As itโs a small community you do end up doing lots of things together as everyone is in the same boat.
That said, the nightlife is basically a couple of ok bars and itโs not a place to jump on Tinder. Good for working, not a party town basically.
Itโs mostly REALLy cheap to live, and in the winter itโs good for skiing etc. The 200 number is extrapolated from the 8 people checked in on Nomad List, so not necessarily completely accurate. But it is exceptional that thereโs 8 people from Nomad List in a place like Bansko. I wonder why too!

What are the best places right now in the Caribbean/LatAM? (Also cheapest flights/accommodation?) Asking from the US.

I love living in walkable areas of town. I can always find them. But now I'm wondering where in the world are the most walkable places? I'm imagining walk streets (no cars), zoning allowing both business and residential, parks or beaches ,etc.

Hi everybody. I live and work in Germany and want to go to Canary Islands for 6 months to work from there. I'm going to keep my current job, just change the "home" in the home office part of things. Are there any tax issues I have to be aware of? I was reading about becoming a residence after 183 days, thus having to pay taxes there plus my employer having to register there. Does anybody know how it works exactly? Thanks a lot!

Hi all, my husband and I have been living in Bulgaria for the past month and were hoping to travel to Greece next. Have any UK nationals entered Greece lately? I believe that anyone entering Greece requires a negative COVID test 72 hours before travel - is this what they are requiring at the borders please? (Reason we ask is for Bulgaria we filled out forms but weren't asked for them) Thanks.

What are some good places to work from in Sofia, Bulgaria?
Looking for the standard things:
Good height tables
Good internet
Comfortably large/not jampacked
Good wifi/plug sockets
Good food/coffee
Decent atmosphere
Friendly staff
and so on
This year I would to work for a few months in a different location taking my partner with me. Iโm calling it a working holiday. Bulgaria is the place Iโm thinking of starting this โtrendโ I would like to do. I have read a lot of other peoples thoughts of it and I know a guy who I sort of worked with, He currently works around the world.
My question is as I am a British WordPress developer will I need a work visa or anything? All my work will be with clients back home. Iโm fully booked up with projects for around 6 months - it grows each week.
Will my partner need any visa?
I have been looking at places to stay and the thought of working on a nice sunny balcony overlooking the sea really make me feel good.
