Hi all, my husband and I have been living in Bulgaria for the past month and were hoping to travel to Greece next. Have any UK nationals entered Greece lately? I believe that anyone entering Greece requires a negative COVID test 72 hours before travel - is this what they are requiring at the borders please? (Reason we ask is for Bulgaria we filled out forms but weren't asked for them) Thanks.

I see that there are a whopping 200 nomads in Bansko, Bulgaria. I’m in Sofia, but aside from Bansko being cheap, I get the feeling that it’s a retirement centre in the summer time. I saw a few Youtube vids but it looks dead. What’s the draw to Bansko right now? Is there nightlife, or is it just a place to go hiking? Are there decent work cafe’s? Is it a decent place for singles?

Since it’s a hotspot I’d love to see some reviews on the page.

What are some good places to work from in Sofia, Bulgaria?

Looking for the standard things:

Good height tables
Good internet
Comfortably large/not jampacked
Good wifi/plug sockets
Good food/coffee
Decent atmosphere
Friendly staff

and so on

This year I would to work for a few months in a different location taking my partner with me. I’m calling it a working holiday. Bulgaria is the place I’m thinking of starting this “trend” I would like to do. I have read a lot of other peoples thoughts of it and I know a guy who I sort of worked with, He currently works around the world.

My question is as I am a British WordPress developer will I need a work visa or anything? All my work will be with clients back home. I’m fully booked up with projects for around 6 months - it grows each week.

Will my partner need any visa?

I have been looking at places to stay and the thought of working on a nice sunny balcony overlooking the sea really make me feel good.
