Enjoyed walking around the shops that look like they are built on the beach. Mancora is where everyone goes to party. I got offered cocaine so many times there lol. I felt very safe there though during the day. And pretty safe at night. There are armed police officers nearby who saw decent amount of times. Cool beach side cafes to do work with decent wifi with an ocean view. I was staying in a nearby town called "Los Organos" which was a 5 peso 20 minute collective ride to/from Mancora or 20 peso 30 minute mototaxi ride (kinda sketchy take a car lol). Great surfing for beginners this area in Peru. Not super developed, but it's nice and the energy is good. People very friendly in los organos. Check out the muay Thai gym with john in los organos. (it's the only gym there)

Mancora is a very nice beach location if you want to have some decent parties, surf , and want to work from your airbnb looking at the ocean
