Granada is nice, but I wouldn't stay here longer than a few weeks. Not that much do to. Since you're in, y'know, Spain, you might as well go to a more exciting city.

This guide is UTTERLY WRONG. $3.300 per month!? You can rent a room as cheap as 200€ (erasmus rooms), 1beer costs usually under 2€ and has a free 'Tapa' - normally when I go out, with 5€ I've eaten and drank enough. Coworkings cost somewhere from 70-120€ depending if part time or full time. Then you can go almost anywhere around walking, and by bus to the mountains. Compared to Berlin, the Internet is much faster and cheaper. Simyo has 20€ prepaid cards that give you 60GB data x month. You also have many clubs, bars and a cultural scene. Granada is also very open and welcoming, not a 'racist' city like announced here. Obviously whoever writes this revies has no idea what it is to live here.

Granada is beautiful and cheap. It has 3-4 distinct areas that are so wonderful to explore. Granada is a traditional Spanish town, in that when you order a drink you will get a plate of tapas along with it. So 3 rounds and 3 plates later, you've had dinner. The people are great and super nice. As a native English speaker, there are less speaking English than a larger city like Madrid, but basic Spanish is just fine to get around in most settings. I can't recommend Granada enough, it's one of the best cities in Spain, if not, Europe.

LOL everything described in nomadlist is pretty much wrong. Granada is the cheapest city in spain. It's super fun and have lot to do for parties, food ect... This is ridicoulous. Please update with real data!

This city is amazing: beautiful, lively, great food, cheap and great surroundings. Beaches and mountains within 1 hour of your doorstep. The only downside is that the airport has very few flights and it’s not as easy to get here as for other bigger Spanish cities. This should be one of the top ranked cities in Spain imho.
