I went to Cape Verde for a few weeks in January 2015.
Cape Verde is a pretty cool place to be, especially when itโs very cold in Europe in the winter, see my relevant post on this on Whatโs the best warm destinations in Europe in the winter?
However, the internet connection was not so good in most islands. I also tested a few wifi connections in different hotels & restaurants, & on different islands, but no luck, the connections were always pretty slow. Maybe I didnโt try in the right places or the right telecom companies.
Apart from the internet connection, I noticed that the quality of the infrastructures is usually quite low. Does it disqualify Cape Verde as a destination for digital nomads? I donโt know. I might simply too little knowledge about the country.
