Not safe for women? I feel very safe here and walk late at night from the train station. Like any town, there are the gypsies and drunks but no, no real problems.

Was recently in POZNAN, and saw there was a huge pro-abortion movement in the old town + outer parts of it.
My first impression was that the city ressembles a lot with PRAGUE and WARSAW. Hills + big squares with covered tram tracks.
The pedestrian area is really nice. 1 or 2 days would be enough to check the city.

Good nightlife, a lot of young people too. Cozy old town center. Avoid clubs with credit card scams, avoid any invites to extravagant clubs
