Great from October to March. Sunny warm winter months with green country side. I don't particularly like Summer here as it gets hot and busy with tourists. In the winter it is still very lively and a lot of activities and meetups going on for expats and nomads. Best to join a community like the surf community or running club to get to know people and start getting invited to the secret gatherings of locals and expats. Easy to make friends as there's a large community of people new to the island.

I've been in Malta for approx 7 months now. And it's quite mediocre. It really feels like a car centric dystopia with absent of trees and way to much construction towards the european classical colorless Bauhaus minimalist architecture that slowly will kill peoples soul (Which is really sad because the classical buildings in Malta is quite beautiful and characteristic). People's favorite activity seems to be alcohol, gym's here are not that great, but they do exists. The best thing about Malta is the cheap air plane tickets out of the island so you can go an explore more interesting countries around in Europe. Bolt / Uber is cheap.

My partner and I moved here last year and we really enjoy the Mediterranean lifestyle. English is the first language and 300 days of the sun and like for Europe it's relatively low-cost lof of living.

Stayed in Malta for 6 months, definitely a place that I don't recommend. A huge mess, and it is getting worse.
. Crazy expensive
. Locals are not nice with foreigners
. Scams from police and locals
. So full of tourist on summer
. Salaries are super low while the life (mostly the rent) are very expensive
. Super dirty
There is a lot better place to go in the world than Malta.
Good point : the landscapes are very beautiful

It's a bit loud for nomads, cars, dog's, honking all the time, construction works everywhere all the time. Weather is nice at winter time is around 15C, no heating in the flats so it's a bit no comfortable inside the house. Locals are nice but in general doesn't like foreigner's if you are from eastern countries especially from Eastern Europe county. If you want to work for local company it will probably be hard to settle it with income.
Td Lr: not bad for few months to stay but not more than that.
