we found 1 good coffee shop, 0 coworkings. Not many things to do. Also, the beach has e.coli and has sewage pumping straight into it 😅

I mean in general, if the town is nice, good vibes, good restaurant, good people? I would guess "yes"

Ah, yes to everything! We’re didn’t check out the party scene while we’ve been here but everything else is great and most people seem to speak English. If you’re not used to this part of the world then some things might seem rundown, but in general everything is nice here and Albanian people are lovely. There’s basically no scams and people don’t bother you in the streets

Oh yeah. 100% People are super nice. I've been here for 1w in Durres, and travelling Balkans for 1mo+ now. Sarande seems to be much simpler, maybe a bit less mass tourism than here. That's what I am aiming for

I’ve only been to Durres in the winter time, but I think the vibe is much better here

There’s a ton of tourism here without a doubt, but still the most common language I’ve heard in the markets and on the streets is Albanian. you can also check out the smaller towns like Ksamil here which are beautiful and you’ll have a higher proportion of locals
