taxes are great, and its a nice place to settle for sure. we considered other options for living long term but really couldn’t find a good enough reason to justify going anywhere else

if you actually live here it’s very easy to get permanent residency. taxfree income depends. if its software development for foreign clients its taxfree and some other setups are 3.3%. dunno about other incentives for new residents though but the above two apply to all

i pay $115/month for “mandatory” healthcare plan with 2 dependants, maybe 30% less solo. $130/month health insurance (fixed flat), $150/month retirement on a ficticious wage (fixed flat).

so this is same regardless of my income with a SAS. nothing else. if you have a irae regimen ficta it would be 3.3% income tax on top of it
