I'm sure this has been asked before, but do most nomads prefer Belgrade or Novi Sad?

It depends on what you want. Belgrade is one of the largest cities in Europe and you have like a metropolitan feel, while Novi Sad has a more laid back atmosphere

Novi Sad is chill, amazing bike lanes and as Miles said, laid back.

Belgrad is way bigger - traffic jam - nervosity of a big city but also more to "offer" in terms of coffees, restaurants and international vibes.

Hi all, I have a 2 week trip to Belgrade booked for mid November but I’m worried about the protests. Anyone knows what it’s like for someone staying in Kosančićev Venac? Any disruptions/ safety issues?

I've been here 1 month and hasn't disrupted me

Especially because if you stay close to the center you can walk to most places, it usually disrupts the traffic/cars.
