Hi. Im in da nang vietnam. I rent some cheap hotel room next tk the beach and afrer 1 night in the room i felt very bad. Have you every seen thjis kind of dirty green dots on the shower head? Wnen i move to the room i spot black dust on the AC shat cover. During the night AC eith black dust turn on it self. Have you every experine this during your stay in vietnam?

Was just in Phu Quoc and stayed in Ong Lang and definitely would NOT come here. The dirtiest and ugliest island I’ve been to anywhere in Southeast Asia. Starfish beach also disgusting between the trash and unfinished development.

There’s trash everywhere on the island. On the roads and on the beaches.

They’ve built massive 4-6 lane highways for no reason that are empty so it doesn’t feel quaint or cute.

Tons of unfinished development projects that range from jungle that’s been decimated and nothing built on it to skeletons of hotels that were never finished.

The hotels are poorly built and designed.

Other parts of Vietnam are much nicer like Da Nang, Hoi An, Mui Ne, etc.

There are a few new, nice places on the island if you want a cruise ship vibe but if you’re looking for lovely laid back tropical island vibes like in Thailand or the Koh Rongs in Cambodia you are going to be super unhappy here.

Either way a week and a half here is WAY too long.

I'm here from october. Every year from 2023 year. Do not listen everyone guys who stay here for week. You can find so lovely beach here that not belive your eyes and simultaneously bad beaches in all South Eastern Asia. Its Phu Quoc
