I’m in Malta (Sliema area) until Tuesday (April 15th) morning, if anyone wants to meet up, let me know :) I’m a small business owner, doing mostly web development + whatever else someone with a “technical co-founder hat” needs to do.

I’d choose Sliema (or Gzira if you are looking for better deals: cheaper airbnbs). Sliema is between Valetta and St. Julian’s, which is where most of life in Malta is concentrated. Valetta is ultra touristic + administration center (but still very pretty and pleasant to spend time in), Sliema is a mix of business+tourists. St. Julian’s is where late nightlife is in.

I got a place in Sliema for the week and it was super fun
Didn’t have much time to explore stuff since i was working a lot, but will definitely come back

Good choice :) I think Malta in general is very underrated for remote work purposes. Two things are pretty bad here: traffic and construction noise. Other than that, it’s a very convenient and relatively affordable place to spend a couple of weeks or months.
