West of Rabat felt pretty quiet, and there’s lots of nature (for Malta’s standards). You have Victoria Lines and Chadwick Lakes close by. And you still can get to Sliema/Valetta relatively fast. But I only visited that area a few times, haven’t stayed there overnight, so can’t tell how it is to actually live there.

Hey all, can you share any reataurant recommendations in st. Julian's? It's my first day here and heard that it gets wild here, so don't want to end up in tourist traps 😂

I really like Illy Cafe in Mercury Tower mall, but that’s for lighter snacks. Very good Salmon Avocado Focaccia there. There’s also good food at TukTuk Indian Kitchen in Carob Tree food court next to Welbee’s by Spinola Bay.
