Update: it got worse since I visited in January. Most of my cards do not work. Some do work though, but it’s not consistent and depending on POS provider. For ATMs without any spread use BelarusBank or PriborBank, though they have monthly limit of around 2kBYN. I was able to cashout more out of BelarusBank using Apple Pay (they have a limit per card per month). I’ve heard that you can also go to a branch and they can cash out more there, but haven’t tested it yet. Belgazprombank ATMs work, but they silently add 3% fee on top without notification (or rather with a notification that they are not adding any fees and if you see additional charge it means it’s your bank, it’s not my bank most definitely because charged amount is 103% :P)
