Is anyone here working on a Frieberufler contract in Germany? I was looking to start a new job with this setup, but I already have some small consulting work that I do (negligible income compared to what the job will bring). Is it possible to use the same Frieberufler license for both, even though one contract is $/hour, and the other is a one-time service type?

And how about ridesharing apps? Bolt doesnt seems to work there. Which one you recommend?

Google works just fine. Db navigator for train rides.
Bolt might not be available in every city.
I’m not sure if Hannover is the best place to start in Germany. Or at least it’s not the no one tourist destination in Germany. 😃

Ride sharing in Germany is like a more convenient way to order a taxi - you’re not really getting any better deal with Bolt/Uber/FreeNow than regular taxis. So don’t worry if apps aren’t available where you are, you can get a regular taxi, the price & quality will be almost the same, and you’re not in too much risk of getting scammed somehow.

I wouldn’t confirm the price topic regarding taxi vs uber but yes uber has dynamic pricing and if you catch a special time it can get expensive. But the price is definitely not almost the same like for a taxi

Any useful "travel apps for Germany" you recommend?
Bolt I use as default in Europe, installing Uber as backup ;)
