Anyone going to be in Morocco the month of November? Nothing set in stone yet, but I'm eyeing a trip where I fly into Marrakesh, and then eventually make my way up to Tangier, cross over to Malaga Spain for a couple nights, then fly back from there. Pretty open-ended right now

I've been here in marrakech for a while & if you're from a cold country like myself (🇨🇦), the weather is always good 😂 Just bring a light coat as it rains often and sporadically, tending to get a bit chilly when it does

I'm also flying to Marrakesh with my boyfriend on the 7th November and we'll be there for 2 months

Life is actually pretty good, apart from pollution in Guelize and main roads. Especially in peak hours. Avoid.

Life is cheap though. We have a cleaner and buy bulk dinner containers from Marjan canteen. Buys us a lot of time to focus.

Internet is ok. Most cafes are old school like in Italy, you know, mainly 50 year old men smoking and staring at by passers haha

Few good hip cafes. There is a Starbucks too.

Where do you recommend staying in Marrakesh for my first time in Morocco? I fly to Marrakesh tomorrow. I’m solo traveling so I want to be somewhere safe that’s nice and walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, etc. I love staying in artsy areas with local live music and local art.

For my 1st 3 nights I’m staying at Outside Marrakesh, a CoLive property I’ve been interested in checking out. I noticed it’s overpriced when comparing prices on Booking and AirBnB websites. But it’ll be neat to visit my 1st Outside property.

I need to book a 2nd property to stay at for another 3 nights. Where do you recommend staying? Should I go to a different part of town?

I'm currently here. Most speak tashelhit an amazigh language/dialect. On the main routes Agadir- Taroudant - Oulad Berhil - Aoulouz - Taliouine you can find Arabic (& sometimes French) speakers no problem. Outside, some pockets speak no Arabic at all.

For surf lovers u also need to visit Dakhla in south of morocco

If you want the best surf spots, definitely come to Taghazout and while Dakhla has some surf going on but it's mainly great for kitesurfing
