Maroussi is a bit far away from where I am unfortunately - i’m in Ilioupoli (and don’t have a car)

Hey all, I will be visiting Athens, Greece for 05 days and confused. Should i only stay in Athens or should i also plan for any nearby island as well.

If you want to have social fun don't go to islands, go only if you want calm and beautiful scenery. You can make a hop to patras, 3h30 of public transports, if you want to be surrounded by university students.

Porto Rafti is also nice to visit for chillax by the sea but staying on mainland. Easier with car.

If it snows a lot the city might even shut down. Car rental is super cheap tho, good for visiting outside the city
