Been in Santa Cruz for several months and will be here for at least 6 more months. I'm basically in Bolivia for good, although I've literally only been to Santa Cruz, eventually I'll explore La Paz and some other cities.

Let's try to get a meetup going. Also I was just at an expat meetup last week, there were almost 20 people getting dinner at a bar. We can try to get a nomad list meetup going or a combined nomad list / expat meetup.

This advice matches my experience, however… i actually have a Bolivian ID and bank account, and step 1 needs to start with me transferring USDT to a Bolivian I know. Reason being, I’m American and the rules are different for Americans due to money laundering laws. Eg binance.us is a different site from binance.com. I looked into like 7 other exchange sites and none of them were available for US citizens. Also regardless of your nationality, you always get the best rates with crisp 100 dollar bills in your pocket.

So according to just a quick internet search, bitget isn’t available for US citizens.

When I say best rate with physical dollars. With dollars you basically get the blue rate. With crypto first you take a loss to covert to USDT or USDC.

Yeah we’ll switch to DM. Last thing for others reading this… the blue dollar might not be around forever, sadly.
