Hi! I'm jesus from spain, nice to meet you all :). I'll be spending ~20 days in Taiwan in January. I was planning 1w in Kaohsiung and 1w in Taipei while working and then move around full time for another 1w. I chose kaohsiung because I think weather would be a bit better and could be interesting to explore the southern of the island. Would you recommend other cities for working remotely?

(If you know any budget hotel/hostel recommendation for remote working (private desk) I'd love to know :D)

Acabo de descubrir lo que es el sinulog jajaja. Después iré a shanghai/beijing a explorar un poco las ciudades. Solo estaré 1 mes por China/Taiwán con 1 amigo

Hi guys - I will be in Taiwan soon and i'm looking for places to stay - Airbnb is pretty sparse and most hotels have no windows - those that do are pretty steep for what you get

I've noticed the same thing, most accommodations are really efficient with space and will squeeze a bed wherever they can.
I found Airbnb the best option for a bigger space. Are you looking for hotels with desk/wifi or hostels?

Same here. Always difficult to find a good Airbnb last minute in Taipei.

Yes. It's for 6 months, and you can extend 3 times now to 2 years. It was only a year before I think.
