Anyone have a backpack from Peak design 30- 45 lts?
Just got one but recently read that some people had to pay extra to bring it on flight

Was thinking of getting one. Generally 30l fits under the seat, so it would depend on what airline you are using

Did anyone here get the espresso lite 15 yet and could give their opinion about it?

I got it last year but display brightness was annoyingly low so switched to a Sotsu one

Thank you! That’s helpful! The lite 15 is like half the price of the sotsu, but if it’s really just a toy in comparison then no point in considering it..

Yeah I am aware of the huge price gap but if you have the budget I think it justifies the difference, even in my room on sunny days if the curtains are open Espresso was giving me a hard time, I had zero issues about Sotsu's brigtness, colors, and display quality

Which model do you use / recommend?

I use flip action pro 16" gen 2, tbh I went wit that option as I liked its ease of use with the stand but the cheaper versions might have simillar display qualities I think I didn't compare the specs

I have one that I think is a 30L, but it’s also slightly expandable. I haven’t had any issues bringing it on flights as a regular carry on.

does anyone travel with a spy camera they keep in their room? I don't think I'm overly paranoid, but they're so cheap and small and I worry about leaving all my electronics in my room (airbnb or hotel) when I'm out. just wondering if this is a thing with the DN community

Depending where u travel you should be cautious in these terms. Don’t go to North Korea with it at least haha

I’ve had the Minaal carry-on 3.0 and daily 3.0 for about 4-5 years and feel okay about them - the 4.0 versions are coming out soon. I went down a rabbit hole on the current state of bags the past few months. My shortlist now would be Evergoods civic travel bag, Able Carry Max EDC, Rework Gear Toshi or Outbound, and Fyro (brand Aaron from the nomads nation youtube channel started) - probably their Citta 25L… I just got a Pioneer Carry Panda Pack as a bit of a polar opposite of the Minaal, but I wouldn’t say it’s in any way best for a digital nomad, I just needed one that doesn’t look too out of place when wearing a suit.

Anyone tried Peak Design Travel 45L?

Peak Design for me has been too heavy, and I’d be worried the 45L would be hitting size limits too… but I’m mainly in asia where the 7KG limit is brutal..

Heyy, I’ve used the bags below for the first half of this year and never regretted my decision:
1. Forclaz Travel 500 Organizer: 40L, a lot of pockets, really really practically placed. Whomever designed this bag is honestly my hero. I used this as a regular backpack. It fits cabin baggage criteria, never had to hand it down.

Then I also carried this hung in front of me:
2. Rains rolltop backpack: I was traveling to SEA for the first time so I wanted to protect my tech against rain. This bag is super rain-proof, and dries really fast. A lot less pockets but enough to carry basic gear.

Note that I packed very light, like no more than 4-5 outfits. But the combo did serve me well for 5 months.
