Slack was better IMHO

I hosted a dev online community in the past using gather.town
It was really nice for co-working remotely, however I was the only one putting work in to keeping it up, and then decided to shut it down.
I would be happy to create sth again if some more people want to contribute time to keep it running ?

Anyone looking for testers for their MVPs/projects?

We've been running similar virtual meetups on Workadventu.re and I was thinking about if I should continue it in some way next year.

Never had a single problem. It's lightning fast, fees are super low, it works with every currency i have ever needed, on any atm i've been at

No, i just asked nomad friends and they said wise is the best, so i just went with wise 😁

Depends a bit on your country of origin/residency.. ie if you are from X then Y might be best.. USA - having a Charles Schwab account, Europe - Revolut.

I use Wise for internatinal stuff, have 3 banks setup in Canada (home country), and will add Wealth Simple there soon as well as they added a nice credit card option that is slowly rolling out.

So best to provide some details. Where you can get accounts, is it personal only, personal + business etc etc

Wise is genuenly a good options if you use it in a very straightforward way. Like send money from your local bank there, and then use wise card to pay everywhere + couple of international transfers now and then.
but once you start sending and receiving money regularly (from and to account not under your own way), we will be banned pretty quickly.

yes, that is kinda the greatest sin for wise - using personal account for business purposes. even though you are allowed to recieve payout from upwork for instance.

I wanted to know have you guys thought before about the development process for early greenfield project that are unclear how or if technologically we can build it. Obviously for all startups the big questions are we building the right thing. but sometime I face some problems where the question is can it be built and how. for those cases how do you guys feels about API Driven development

I’m strong advocate for the end-to-end horizontal slices, it worked out well for us in our company, but not sure if it’s the sliver bullet for all cases, and I’ve seen a lot of advocates for the API driven development
