But when I was there last time I ordered 2-3 different kebabs/gyros each time and they always turned out to be pretty mid sadly

found some good ones:

Gyradiko gigantos: very big portions, good if ur rly rly hungry but not the best quality imo, there's a time and place for it

Gyrosphera: Decent, nothing crazy, but good solid shawarma

Palaontas: Very nice fresh ingredients (get the mixed gyros w/ secret sauce)

Shawarma by Punin: good but quite expensive

L Thraka: My daily go-to (I also live nearby, but imo it's the best one in terms of price, quality and quantity - i get the chicken gyros with just onions and then honey mustard + bbq sauce)

If you like Gyradiko, then the ones in Sweden were not very special. Not that Gyradiko is bad, it's just quite normal... at least judging by the one in Larnaca

yeah, although quite the same, Gyros is different from German doner, which is different from Adana style doner which is different from Arabic "shawarma"

Still the quality differs a lot, because it matters how much care they put into roasting it... and if it's from 2 days ago, reheated repeatedly :)

Limassol is more expensive, networking is OK in Larnaca

There's good gyms in Limassol, best one imo is ARA Gym XL

I haven't figured out how to network yet tbh I just go to padel matches and do outdoor workouts

But from what I've understood limassol has higher caliber people than Larnaca

Kite surfing for sure is better in Larnaca though, so far haven kite surfed or seen anyone kitesurfing in limassol

There are many which are just no agenda beer meetings, there are some which are more focused, but not as open. I am in one such focused on enterpreneurship and we are meeting tomorrow.

yeah, i mean if a place is expensive its usually that way bc there’s richer ppl there

If ur gonna rent its gonna be minimum €1000eur for a 1br in limassol

If u want a decent place i’d say expect to pay €1500-2000/mo (without water, electricity snd common fees)

I really like Nicosia actually. The only real downside is that July and August is very hot, but otherwise I think it's the best place.

SOHO embassy is the best coworking space in limasol by far, SOHO central office is decent. All the other ones I looked at suck/are just annoying to deal with
