Hey guys! I plan to go to Sri-Lanka for one month mid-Dec - mid-Jan. I've hear the internet is pretty bad there. Does it apply to all cities, where it is good enough for work? And what cities and places you recommend in general?

I'm also thinking of going to sri lanka mid january but i heard the floods are pretty bad right now. anyone have any insights into this?

South-West didn’t have any troubles. So if you plan to stay on the beach and surf - everything works as usual

Main damage happened in the middle of the island and north part. Some roads maybe be close still. But major attractions are open already

I work here for few years. It’s okay
Some places even provide info about internet speed.
Mobile internet is always good to have for the backup plan. It’s quite good in my opinion too

Nice, thank you. Will be traveling to Sri Lanka form mid December to the new year. Decided not to cancel my plans despite floods
