I have a question about bringing in ADHD meds into SEA
does anyone have experience with it?

I want more than a months supply so I won't have to return to my home country.

I'm not very organised (ADHD) and the process seems to require a lot of paperwork done in advance.

I can't be the only digital nomad with this issue.
for reference I'm considering being perscribed Elvanse / Lisdexamfetamine

but I might ask for modafinil if it's less of a legal headache when traveling

I actually decided to just stop taking mine before my trip to S Korea and Japan, and for me personally that ended up being the right decision. I’ve heard that even if you submit ahead of time, the likelyhood of getting approval isn’t great.

When I decided on getting the digital nomad Visa for Japan I did discuss with my psychiatrist about switching to non-stimulants but ultimately decided to stay off meds. Of course ADHD is still an everyday struggle but I’ve been able to mostly manage it well enough.
