I liked Vang Vieng for the nature, activities and the food. Though I must say there was way too much dust on the roads.

Luang Prabhang that way is nicer (with good roads). I liked visiting "My library" or "big brother mouse" and helping Laos children practice English.
Yet to visit the waterfalls :)

On the way to the waterfall there is a kind of butteflies sanctuary/school that is quite interesting.
About the big brother mouse I remember that one year ago I couldn't find a child to speak with because there were too many foreigners and not enough children 😅

Big brother mouse: That's true. I found mornings and weekdays have less foreigners but a decent amount of children to talk to.

Airbnb has houses to rent, better than stay in small hotel room. But now is tourist season so many places can be fully booked.
