is it possible to do unlimited visa runs in paraguay as a nomad?

I thought about temp residency but as its my first time I dont feel like spending thousands and comitting to a country that I dont know yet right away...

U can do the process yourself. We are talking about few hundred USD and the temp residency is pretty simple to get once you have the needed documents translated and apostolized.

Ok, Like how much aproximately if I do it myself? Yea I thought that too. But all the youtubers are saying its better to have it done by a lawyer or you must speak spanish... but maybe they just want to make money. Do you have any good resources to get more info?

Apparently Ueno dropped the max withdrawal limit from 10M to 2.5M per transaction 😔
I checked two locations already, the one in front of shopping villa morra and the matrix one on Santa Teresa, both are limited to 2.5M now

Because the staff told me it was 2.5 but when I did it, it worked.

Both, the screen on the ATM has a message at the top saying that the limit is 2.5M as well. When I manually entered any amount over 2.5M it also directly told me that this amount exceeds the limit. In total I've now tried 3 different Ueno ATMs and they all have the new limit already

Very interesting. I wonder when that happened.

Hey why is everyone loving Paraguay? Looks great, but is it just to save money and the potential for another passport. What’s there to do? It’s landlocked so I wasn’t sure what it’d be like compared to other surrounding nations like Uruguay for example

There are other countries where it's easier to get the passport, I don't think that's the reason.

Im making the move to PY early next year. Ive been back and forth a few times. The last time I went I met lots of great people there, all on the same wavelength.
Building and growing themselves and or their businesses. Lots of people still travel to exotic beautiful places, but they use PY as their base to get shit done.

Plus property is so cheap they can keep their life there and come and go without having to carry their life everytime.
You get a high quality of life for super cheap, so even when youre putting your head down to work hard, you can spoil yourself with top quality steak and wine for cheap as chips.
Then use time off to explore Brazil or Argentina etc.

Plus a hands off govt is very alluring for many

I agree that I very enjoy the hands-off government.

I came to Paraguay in 2017, before that I've spent the years 2006 - 2013 in China, so I can see the huge contrast between these two countries where one government tries to regulate every detail of your life while the other one is more like "just try to not harm anyone, then you'll be fine".
