How long can I stay in dubai going in and out visa runss? Someone did it?

Has anyone renewed their residence visa recently? How long does it take these days? Need to renew the visa in couple of month, and wonder if that can be done within 2-3 days.

Hey, I have got a freelance license (aka Sole Professional) and it’s been great so far

I've opened free zone llc in RAKEZ, so far all good, got emirates id, bank accounts, driving license. Soon first financial year ends, will figure out how to do all corporate tax and audit stuff.

One thing that I didn't know when doing all that is that you can either have employee visa and get salary, but then have to visit every 180 days, or have invesor/partner visa and can visit once every 360 days, but can't pay yourself salary, it has to be either dividends or loans to yourself. I'm not an expert here, but I believe the main difference is that salary is counted into company expenses, so you don't pay 9% tax after going over 0% threshold, and dividends are not expenses and you have to pay corporate tax

The 9% tax is applied to income above 375,000 AED, which is around 100,000 USD, right?

Their wording is "taxable income", but yes, it's basically profit I guess. There's a guide somewhere on the FTA website. Taxable income is total annual income - exempt income

Another question is, how flexible I can get using my company’s income? If the company is making $5000 per month, can I make my salary as the CEO $5000 per month?
And will that mean my company do $0 per year in profit, or the salary will not be considered an expense?

But even if it's not considered an expense, as long as it's below 375k aed a year - there's nothing to worry about, and even if it's above 375k but below 3m there's nothing to worry about until 2026 because of small business relief. At least this is my thinking about this whole thing :)

And what about how much the salary of the owner should be? Is there anything that restricts it to not exceed a certain amount based on the company earnings? Or I can issue myself a salary of 100% the income of the company each month?

Individuals can sometimes be subject to corporate tax as well, if turnover of business activities is above 1m aed. So many legal words, that's why there're so many tax advisors 😁
