On a scale of 1-10 (ten being BCN or AMS) how touristy was Annecy?

Hey Nathan. Oh well… on a weekend, with perfect weather - 7.

I recall wanting to gtfo of town immediately. It was common to get a lot of stares because I was alone. But not as touristy as AMS or BCN.

Mainly families - felt like a theme park in the main areas on the weekends.

But on the weekday, with some light rain, it was very chill. More like a 4.

Haha ok, that's kind of what I expected. It looks gorgeous but I'm really allergic to large tour group cities so maybe I won't visit :(
