Hello! I plan on staying in Morocco for 3 months. I’m hoping to spend the first being heads down productive. Any suggestions on the best city with good Wifi access, calm, and not too many distractions?

Also, if you have tips on finding any short term places to stay: 1-3 months, I’d appreciate it. I’m unsure if there are good sites or options outside of Airbnb. Thanks! 🙏🏽

I've been in mrrksh for nearly 2yrs now for the same reasons

It can do the trick given you live slightly outside of the city center called 'Gueliz'; 95% of the wifi at all the cafes or co-working spaces are 10/10

Your best bet with short term stays are likely going to be the usual AirBnb x Booking duo although the prices have that classic unspoken tourist tax on them

If you're looking for something that's priced more fairly, I'd recommend some riads in the medina although the trade-off is that it's anything but "calm" and "not too many distractions"

Going to Marrakech (Hivernage) for a few days in a month or so - first time in Morocco and looking for recommendations on where to stay. Imsouane is nice but you need to like slow life if you’re planning on spending two months there! It’s super small! WiFi is not always good everywhere so check that before booking your accommodation

Essaouira is much bigger - it really depends what you enjoy doing? Do you surf? Enjoy shopping? Etc for surfing imsouane is better for night life, and everything else essaouira is better
