Hey everyone I have spent 10 days in the Netherlands now... and looking to move here in a few months... wiill need to go back to the UK for a few weeks. I work remote so can work from anywhere... love the energy and the people here. Looking forward to making freinds / meeting up. I'm into Sailing, Tech (total geek!), Martial Arts (muai thai, karate), Dancing (Salsa on1/on2, Bachata, Kizomba), Art (painting/sculpture - trained artist), I work for a multinational IT company based in the US and usually work out of Basingstoke/England.

I don't have a phone at the moment (got stolen in Amsterdam.) also had some baaaaad experiences in clubs - went alone - got beaten up and body slammed to the ground for no reason. I've had to call police on bouncers to get my rucksack back - its not been all fun and games! but!!! and big buttt here... the nice people I've met have far far far outshone the bad aspects of being here... so I am still full of hope that this is the place for me!

You either get airbnb which is super expensive or luck out getting someone who’s going for a long trip and you pick up their rent
