No the Swiss pass is a yearly subscription, for cheaper train tickets if you book in advance certain trains at certain hours are cheaper you see this sign % next to the price

Check the sbb app to see the different prices personally when i have big travel to do in a day i take a day pass in the app. If it's a short move I takes some dégriffé tickets
