not really, last year (since the new government assumed) we had an inflation in dollars of ~280%, so if you come with dollars you'll pay super expensive prices compared to one year ago. We have currency exchange controls so we don't know how much the exchange rate will stay as is now, and this is an elections year, so probably until after the elections (end of october) we'll still be expensive

I've never used an ATM in Argentina. I saw a news article that they recently raised the limits, but I believe the fees are still high. Last time I entered BA, I did not bother getting pesos directly on arrival. I just booked the Tienda Leon shuttle bus with a credit card and went to a WU in town.

I am currently in Brazil and I miss Argentina because people were more educated, and I can get by a lot better in Spanish than Portuguese. I heard it’s almost US prices there now for a lot of things, and unfortunately I’m not earning much right now.

- Go to a Palermo shop to get ARS for USDT or BTC

Agreed. sorry, my answer was too short. I meant use the ATM to get enough for the fare to BA, then deal with WU or whatever there. Uber works too and you can just order an Uber to get to BA from the airport and won't need cash at all

In BA right now. Rent in Palermo for a 1BR on airbnb roughly 1k USD per month.
Eating out mid range around 30 USD, can easily go higher.
Grocery prices can be weird, rule of thumb is anything imported will be expensive, everything else around upper European prices. Meat is cheaper.
Alcohol can get expensive.
